Raising awareness of mental wellbeing

A vital part of our work is raising awareness of mental wellbeing and reducing stigma. We take part in national and local campaigns to help people start conversations about how they are feeling and give them information on how they can improve their wellbeing.

We've produced a range of materials aimed at men to help break down the stigma of admitting you are not feeling on top of everything. We've made a series of beer mats/coasters which have this message on the back:

We're hoping that by putting these mats in public places around Islington we'll be able to empower men to take action to make their lives happier. We've also produced a postcard with a similar message.

We use these materials and others to help us raise awareness at events and groups. If you would like any materials to help you join in our campaign and start the conversation, please email wellbeing@manorgardenscentre.org.
